My wife and I enjoyed a very pleasant two night stay, Sunday to Tuesday; lovely dinner and a well stocked bar featuring the products of the hotel's microbrewery. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Beamish Open Air Museum nearby is an attraction that complements a stay at the hotel; there are other attractions in the area that well merit visiting and it is well situated for visiting Newcastle and Gateshead.

Whether you want to stay in a luxury hotel or are just calling by on your walk with the dogs this place is great. (although not sure they let dogs in anywhere, there are always awnings up in the courtyard)

I have just had my wedding at Beamish Hall and I was so impressed that I had to get my review on ASAP. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the grounds are amazing so we can't wait to see our photographs. The staff are friendly and welcoming and go out of their way to help and I would just like to specifically mention Matt and Daniel as they saved me an embarrassment when I ran out of alcohol to fill my favours and went to asda to get me more, not many places would be prepared to do that for you so I would like to send an extra special thankyou to them. The food was fantastic, the rooms were spacious and I am gutted I didn't actually get to make use of the huge jacuzzi bath in our room. We stayed in the Charon apartment the night before the wedding and it was absolutely fantastic and huge it was great for all of us to get ready in the morning. All of our guests said the wedding was amazing and it was the best place they had been for a wedding. Our day was amazing and I would not hesitate for 1 second to recommend this beautiful place for a wedding venue. So thankyou to all of you who were involved in our day.
