We are a family-owned Durham hotel located in the picturesque Beamish Valley. We have been proudly welcoming our guests to the property for nearly 20 years. Guests stay in one of 43 individually decorated bedrooms, or the Charron Apartment which sleeps up to 8 guests.
The Stables, our Bar & Restaurant, is located at the rear of the main building and welcomes both guests and visitors. Offering delicious traditional, fresh food using local suppliers and ingredients, the menu is complemented by an extensive offering of real ales, wine and cocktails. The Stables Beamish Hall
The Stables Bar & Restaurant is situated at the back of the Hall in the converted 18th century stable block and it features a large external courtyard. The building itself is lovingly restored and retains the building’s original features; stone floors, exposed beams, antique furniture and roaring winter log fires.
Welcoming both our residents as well as walk-in guests, The Stables offers satisfying seasonal menus with dishes prepared from the freshest, local ingredients.

We are conveniently located approximately 20 minutes from Newcastle and Durham City with Newcastle Airport a short 30 min drive away. The closest train station is at Chester-Le-Street, only 15 minutes away.
